Trivia: Philip Baker Hall
It should be noted under 'trivia' that actor Philip Baker Hall appears in both same story movies; The Zodiac 2005 and Zodiac 2007, in different characters/roles though. Isn't that interesting!

But it does interest me on how it happened. Was Phillip cast out of spite? Despite being 2 years apart both movies were actually filmed around the same time.
I've done some acting and for commercials you can't act in a competing product like being in McDonalds and then do a Wendy's for X amount of years.
I'm surprised in films they don't hsve contracts like that where you can't act in the same subject matter.
