I've lately had an interest in the case only cause I'm visiting SF for the first time. I was a Zodiac buff from 2002 until 2011. I think once I came to the realization the case won't ever get solved and definetly not while he's alive my interest died down a little,
Anyways I've been back on zodiackiller.com lately and reading about other suspects and it bugs me when peiple talk about the composite sketch and how so and so suspect looks just like it and their age, etc.
1. Almost everyone looked like that during that era. Bryan Hartnell and Paul Stone (if he wasn't losing his hair an lose the stash) can look like that. Even look at Stines younger pictures he looks like the composite.
2. If you live on thr 2nd or 3rd floor and look across the street you think you can describe accurate physical features of a total stranger in total darkness?
3. Even the 2nd composite that the police made when driving and may have saw Zodiac. Again it's cops driving looking for a black man, take a quick look at a white man and move on. Again I don't think all the composites are accurate.
I remember Mike Rodelli had an interesting suspect named Mr. X, San Francisco Businessman and my favorite Citizen Q. Those nicknames are for one man who probably died in the last 5 years cause I think he was over 80 in 2003. I think he provided DNA for ABC primetime Zodiac episode and didn't match. Same show that also tested Allen's DNA.
Anyways, Rodelli came up with a theory that Zodiac loved writing so much that he probably has written an article in the paper under his own name. He and someone I think Ed from zodiackiller.com did some research and found someone who wrote similar to Zodiac in a citizens section giving his opinions on something. They then did more research and found out he lived in Presidio Heoghts where Paul Stine was killed.
So far so good,
Apparently, at his business either the building next to him or his building had a logo similar to the Zodiac symbol.
Interesting? I was.
Then Rodelli kept talking over and over about some stupid scar in the composite resembling a scar on the forehead of Mr. X....
I just ignored everything after that.
