That Train Robbery Scene.

My god. One of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen in a film. Amazing.

Mesmerizing, sublime...there are no superlatives for it. It unwinds like time flowing slowly backwards.

It was a fantastic scene. The lighting was quite well done, from the light of the locomotive into the woods to the interior shots of the cars stuffed with people. Well done.

Agreed, to me it was like watching a painting come to life on the screen, if that makes any sense?

Life is always intense for a repo man.

When Roger Deakins is calling the arrival of the train the "Highpoint of his Career" I think it's safe to say that the scene is one of beauty, as well as being raw and poetic. The guy has done nothing but great work and he pinpoints THAT scene. Idk how I could disagree

Came here to say the same thing. I was in awe for the duration of the scene. The whole film was nothing short of mesmerizing. But Mr Deakins really outdid himself with the train robbery.

The part where the train comes out of the dark until it stops before it hits Jesse, was absolutely gorgeous. The music was perfect too. Kept me watching the rest of the film just for the cinematography.

There IS evidence he faked his death...the no was a typo
