Loved this film

I have seen both The Prestige and this film. Although I am a fan of Chris Nolan, something I've always had against him was that his style of storytelling can be a bit complex sometimes that you literally have to be as smart as he is to understand what's going on, or at least close to it. The Prestige is a perfect example. I've seen the ending to that film many times and still don't fully understand it. For the most part I do, just not completely. The reason I prefer this movie to the Prestige is because in The Prestige, they didn't so much focus on the magic tricks as well as they did on the growing rivalry between Jackman and Bale. The illusions are what made this film more spectacular. Another reason is that The Prestige had too many twists in it. Or at least more than it needed. What many people don't know about the ending to this film is that it is only a supposed twist. What I mean by that is all the flashbacks that they show at the end of the film are all guesses and assumptions made by Inspector Uhl. We will never really know what actually happened. Maybe she died, maybe she didn't. Was it all real or was it an illusion? It is truly up to the audience to decide for themselves. This is all just my opinion of course. I completely respect anyone who prefers Prestige over this film because that is also a good movie as well.
