Soundtrack...

I was thinking maybe we could get a Soundtrack Listing of our own, since it doesn't look like one is being released.

Just copy what I have (gathered from another message board regarding the music) & paste it with additional ones you know of. Maybe we can get all of them into a complete listing - one where one can just look at the bottom listing for the most complete.

“Cold Water”, ARTIST: Damien Rice
“Belle Nuit, O' Nuit D'Amour” from The Tales of Hoffman. ARTIST: Beverly Sills
“Starafur”, ARTIST: Sigur Ros

What is the song at the end of the movie with the lyrics 'lord can you hear me now?' Who does it?

The song you are looking for is called "Cold water" and is sung by Damien Rice.

There is also the Sigur Rós Song "Starálfur" which is played when they're going back to the airport.

I really want the original score though. Anyone know who the composer is?

reply

yes, i want to know who did the original score too.
Damien Rice's "Cold Water" has already been used in other movies: Jude Law and Julia Robert's "CLOSER" and even TV series LOST, CSI Miami.. it's a good song itself however it's not good for everthing..
Sigur Ros' "Staralfur" is much better fit in here, its sad icelandish language very well reflets our charactors sentiments.

reply

it was a different song in closer, wasn't it?

reply

there're two songs by damine rice in the CLOSER soundtrack, "Cold Water", and "The Blower's Daughter".
