Uniform accuracy

If anyone who's been in the Coast Guard is on this board (especially if they were an officer) were the Coast Guard uniforms accurate ? I didn't see any of the obvious inaccuracies typical in movies, but then again Im better at spotting errors with the uniforms of my own branch (Army).

The grossest error is the Commandant's dress uniform. It's the uniform of a five-star admiral which has never existed in the Coast Guard and not in the Navy since 1950!

I came here to report it in the goofs section, but it is already there.
