I was always wondering if, the movie that helen was watching, I believe 'An Officer & a Gentlemen', has any big signifigance in this movie.
just curious. I was just thinking about how Frank and Zack are both navy officers.

Yea, a ton of significance. The whole scene was very much forshadowing what would happen later on.

The only reason the "Officer & a Gentlemen" clip was shown as so there would be one good scene in this movie.
