Guys outnumber girls MAJORLY!

Before you read this, I'm a guy and I don't take sides in any "dominant gender" things. But I seriously think it's weird that out of 18 kids, only 7 of them are girls. You'd think there'd be 9 of each gender. I was at least glad to see Helen had a 50-50 mixture, but Frank's got 6 boys and only 2 girls???? What genius producer's idea was that?

Also, I heard in 1 of the DVD's special features that the part for Naoko North was originally gonna be played by a boy. After hearing that I was like, "Oh well thank God Miki showed up for the auditions!"

I believe in the actually Beardsley and North families they did have more girls than boys.

if I remember clearly Frank really has 7 girls and 3 boys and Helen had four of each!

Guys, I haven't seen the 1968 version. In case you didn't see the picture of the dvd cover, these boards are for the 2005 version. In which, Frank has 6 boys and 2 girls and Helen has 5 of each.

Not that it's a big deal, I just figured with 18 kids, there'd be an even number of both.

I was going to say...I have six children....5 girls and 1 boy...no parity there

it all evens out in the end

my chinese family

6 kids

one girl she had two girls one boy

1.2 girls three boys

2.2 boys one girl

3.one girl one boy

4.two girls one boy

5.no children

so it all balances out

I have 5 brothers, and no sisters. Things don't always even out naturally.
