Why Would He Have Sex With Her + Why Would She Not Kill Him ?

I honestly don't get why he would have sex with her considering what she just did she managed to literally transport from her cave miles away in a second almost like teleporting and manages to kill all of his men in a second and hang all there corpses from the ceiling inches from where beowulf is sleeping all without waking him up so she is like ultra dangerous yet he wants to have sex with her why would you do this like him putting his guard down when she could snap and kill him in any second ?

Yes I get that she is stunning and ultimate seduction but considering what she just did also i get that Beowulf was just way over his head he saw no weapons affected her she was like a ghost with the sword going through her and the power she demonstrated at the end of the day she is a demon and he no matter how strong is still just a man and no man can kill her which is why the king knew that beowulf had failed and if beowulf could not kill her no one could so he killed himself.

Also she only did not kill him because she wanted a son and in some twisted demon way she saw him as the ultimate man and wanted a child like that and wat way to get back at your enermy than to have his child and then use it against him someday but still with all that anger over the death of her son and the sudden change in personalty was a bit exaggerated and after he did the deed why not kill him then with the power she had surely it could have been done in a second.

That's the thing with demons. They are evil just because they enjoy it. Not killing Beowulf after mating is a much greater joy for the demon, because it gets to see his downfall, his grief over what he did wrong and finally his undoing. At the end, when the demon appears to Wiglaf, we also realize that this seems to be some kind of neverending cycle. Btw, I really love the way the movie ends. You get this spark of hope that the circle will be broken, that Wiglaf will resist its powers. Personally, I think it's not gonna happen.

And why did he have sex with her? First of all, look at her! It's f-in' naked golden Angelina! No, seriously. It kinda was out of his hands. The power of this enemy was to seduce men in a magical way. He could not have beaten her anyway, since she was pretty immune to conventional killing and stuff.

The icing on the cake was that he didn't even realize he may have been bewitched at that moment. He took it as his own fault, which haunted him for the rest of his life. Beowulf did win in a way, though. He conquered his demon, namely his son and at least earned some redemption for mistakes he had made in the past.

Wiglaf would resist because if you didn't figure it out, he was gay. A she-demon cannot seduce a gay man.

There is also the tradition of the "man price" where you can pay for the life you took. The price is set according to their social worth. Could be the golden flagon he gives the Mother is the price of Grendal's life. She sees a way to seek even more revenge on him by bewitching him into getting her pregnant and then watches as his life is eventually ruined due to his weakness. She ultimately triumphs by taking advantage of that weakness and setting up his downfall by letting him live and giving him what he wants.
