What's the point in using cgi or green suit to make the characters eg. Angelina Jolie in the movie looks like Angelina Jolie? Maybe I just don't get it.

That wasn't her body. She was pregnant at the time. Also, have you seen Ray Winstone? He's *slightly* less ripped than the character he's playing.

You can maintain consistency and put characters into any situation by being all CGI. Also it's simply an artistic choice. Same reason why some water color and others photograph.
