Beowulf: Director's Cut, Unrated..It should have been much better...

Beowulf:
I saw this film on cable, a little tamer version than the DVD
I purchased, which boldly said on the cover box: "Directors cut, Unrated." There was an increase in the blood, gore and carnage, that is all.
I have a problem with the way the main character Beowulf was designed and created, he is way too perfect, tall, lean, way too smooth and delicate. He looked like he should be carrying a surf board and ready to pose for the surfing calendar. No, he should of been beefier, hairier and more scarred, the graphic evidence of all the battles he's fought lately.
Why are they so afraid of the human body?
They went out of their way to hide any evidence that Beowulf was a man and that he had male genitals, they hid him behind smoke, flames and pottery and pillars, anything, it became a joke. I expected Grendel to say something to Beowulf, 'Why not show your stuff?' Beowulf replies, 'What stuff?'
That's just it, Grendel had nothing at all! Nor did Beowulf, as he jumped all over the hall like a crazy naked chimp, hanging from the rafters, but he had no stuff, it was laughable.
As for Grendel, it wasn't a male nor a female. Grendel's mother was sexless, an illusion of a perfect female body, which in reality, disguised a demon creature underneath.
Lastly, my DVD has no Title/Chapter/Scene selections, they had numbers next to various characters photos and these were extremely limited. I always look at each Chapter/Title before I start watching the entire film. I want to know what the title of that scene is suppose to be, the production company did a poor job on this video.
