shareIf I'm not allowed five years' training in body building and martial prowess, and have to go after said monster as is, then I'm stacking the deck in my favor:
Vampire Pumpkin. No, really. They appear in Romanian folklore. If a pumpkin left on the vine after Yule is exposed to the light of the full moon, it can become a vampiric pumpkin. Distinguishable from normal pumpkins by a slightly ruddier color and a drop of blood near the stem, vampire pumpkins don't do much aside from roll around and growl.
The battle would be long and epic, a pastiche as close to "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" as I can muster, before smiting the enemy (or enemies) with a shovel.
