Public Service Broadcasting - A Gem
The thing about public service broadcasting is that amongst all the dross that gets broadcast, every now and then a real gem shines through.
Unfortunately Catherine Tate isn't that gem.

Well if she's got an award. Well I mean.

Apparently I'm not the only one who doesn't rate Catherine Tate - despite the awards the Christmas show's been buried on BBC2 on 20th December. 9 O'clock's a good time slot but not exactly prime-time Christmas TV.

Firstly the show is post-watershed so it had to be shown at 9 o' clock and secondly all the BBC's comedy shows appear at that time or even later. The show was brilliant too.
