I get annoyed with Little Britain because it started out being quite funny but it got old really quickly. With Catherine Tate I feel she has better observations for characters she plays, it's more true to life.
"Catherine Tate Show is better than Little Britain" is like saying "My sh*t tastes better than your sh*t".
The only reason I was on here was because someone said "Jam" was in the associated/recommended programs on this page, I can't believe it's true.

I agree though, Little Britian has just lost it's funniness. Catherine Tate show is way better.

I agree. Exactly 3 years ago, Little Britain started playing where i lived, and i loved it and it was very popular. Then in the autumn the 2nd season was shown and i strongly disliked it, i almost hated it, right after that season ran to an end, Catherine Tate show started being show and i loved that, more than LB. It´s a truly great show, much better than LB.

I totally agree with every1 here. Catherine's 'nan' character is shockingly very similar to my own nan which proves to me how realistic her characters are. Also, when I was at school I came across so many 'Laurens' that I can fully identify with where Catherine is coming from with the character. In contrast, the LB characters are over-the-top caricatures that no-one can truly identify with. One of the greatest mysteries to me is how Vicky Pollard can possibly be seen as funny. The second that the stupid "yeah but no" thing starts I want to scream. As someone previously said - the show got very old very fast.
Slightly off-topic but can any tell me the name of the guy who does the Essex couple sketch with Catherine where they laugh hysterically at the most mundane things ?
