has anyone else noticed about the shirt?

When Tun and Jane are looking at the board full of accident photos (I'm guessing about 30 minutes into movie) and Jane notices that one has a white spirit mark, Tun is wearing a t-shirt with "Minnesota" scrawled across it. If it said New York or California or Florida even I wouldn't have thought much about it. But, saying this as an American, I don't really think of Minnesota as the big vacation spot in the US, especially for international travelers. I watch Sundance Channel's Sunday night Asian Extreme pretty regularly, and I swear there was another film in the last couple months in which one of the characters had on a t-shirt with an even more random American location on it.

P.S. Those of you from Minnesota, please take no offense. I've been there several times and think it's a lovely state.

You're reading too much into it. It's just a shirt. I have shirts that say all kinds of stuff on it like Moose Lodge, Canada - but I've never been there. Sometimes, it "just is".

I live in Russia and about 5 years ago there was suddenly a abundance of Indiana Indians jackets that I saw a dozen times a day. There was no logic whatsoever that so many Russians would be fans an American Minor League Baseball team, especially when Russians don't particularly care for baseball. My only guess is that whatever Chinese company was hired by the Indiana Indians to make their jackets had a bunch of knock offs that they eagerly sold to Russia. Being close to Thailand, I'm sure that millions of random American shirts and jackets find their way into the Thai Market.

Thanks for the interesting response (which I just noticed 2 years later). Indiana Indians is for sure a pretty obscure reference. Cheers!
