Scary movie scarier than Shutter

So as of now this is my favorite horror movie. I thought it had everything a horror movie should have; good storyline, great acting, haunting moments, some cheap scares, humor...anyway, I haven't found a scary movie as good as this one. Is there something you can recommend that you thought was scarier and as entertaining without being too gorey?

What I've watched:
Tale of Two Sisters: Very good, loved it!
Alone: Enjoyed it
Coming Soon: Lots of screaming moments, liked it
Ju-On: Not scary...
Ringu 1&2: Lame...
Sixth Sense: Loved it
The Eye: Didn't like it
Dead Friend: Entertaining
Doll Master: Very entertaining, not scary
Whispering Corridors: Boring
The Wishing Stairs: Boring too
Suicide Club: Disturbing, not scary

That's all I can remember at the moment...

i just watched shutter recent as ive been looking for a good horror movie after watching The House of the Devil which gave me incentive to look through more modern horror films as it was awesome, there are no jump scares but the film builds up to an insanely creepy finale so id recommend that

also Insidious, The Decent, Carnival of Souls, Suspiria, 28 Days Later, 28 weeks Later,

and You're Next is the most entertaining horror film i've seen since Thr Thing soo id recommend that to

This *tries* to have everything a horror should have and fails in almost every aspect. The Ring easily destroys this film in terms of scariness. Even the vomiting girl scene from the Sixth sense makes this look like Spongebob Squarepants.
