Pablo reacted the way he did because Jr. abandoned his responsibilities towards others that work for Pablo and the Kenneths. If I was Pablo, I'd be bitching too about Jr's immaturity and stupidity.
Jr. skipped out a meeting and Pablo specifically said it wasn't 'my job to deal with your business deals.' Which is true. If Jr. is going to make a business deal, he shouldn't leave it to his partner to clean up his messes. Jr. deserved that smackdown completely.
Wow, I saw that scene so differently. I thought he was in so much pain over Jean being in the hospital that he lashed out at Junior. Yes, Junior missed a meeting, and yes, that had him shirking on his responsibilies, but...Junior was doing what Pablo has wanted to do for four seasons now. Junior was following his heart and going after what he wants--a future with Kris, with Pablo's urging. I think that's what had Pablo's back up. He's been holding back his feelings for Jean and now, with her in the hospital, he's afraid he'll lose that chance forever. Just my honest take on it.
