Sorry I don't want to offend anyone here and I'm not really a fan of the show. it comes on trouble every day and i happen to check it out here and there but the acting in this show leaves alot to be desired.
No offence but the guy who plays Junior cannot act. The writing is so flat. i mean the show has potential it's just...boring.

the acting has gotten MUCH better since season 1. the actors in season 1 weren't good but they grew into their characters. Nicole Tubiola(Dani) was the worst! she was a horrible actress but she's gotten better at it esp. this season.

The writing is atrocious. All the potential this series ever had went down the drain in season 2 when the writers decided it would be more fun to recycle the same 3 or 4 plotlines. It doesn't surprise me that ABCFamily decided to end the show rather deal with declining ratings due to the same *beep* being handed the actors season after season.
I have to say I agree about the acting, and some of the writing, but I wouldn't call it flat. The actors could improve, definitely. There are some scenes that make me almost cry the actors are so horrifyingly bad. I mean, the whole "Junior talking to Kris about getting together" scene a few episodes back was pretty good in comparison to some of the other acting...or maybe I was just blinded by my love of their cuteness. xD Anyway, I'm going to have to say that Pablo and Jean are the best two. They seem the most realistic. But that's just my take. I also disagree with whoever said Dani sucked. I think she's actually amazing at acting bitchy AND...um, not-bitchy. I'm going to have to say that Matt and Junior are the worst and Kris sometimes is just horrible. I mean, she has great episodes, but sometimes she's just downright depressing.

The series has gone down the drain after season 1 since they decided to add every cliche possible and decided to hook up Junior and Kris and then Kris and Matt and then have her end up with Junior. They decided all of this in season 2 and were clear about what was going to happen. It was just cliche after cliche to get here.
I agree with you SuchAGinger, that the acting and writing can be so bad that you have to cringe. GC in particular can be just terrible.

Yes, I do love him. I suppose I am such a dedicated Matt fan because there are so Matt haters out there who attack the character just for existing while letting Jr. get away with any number of things no matter how horrible.
I no longer wish Kris for Matt. I mean, a part of me is sentimental and remembers the pilot episode but the writers have pretty much destroyed my love of Kris. (I have mentioned elsewhere but I'll say it here: Ken Davis got it right calling Kris a gold-digging whore.)
I don't like Dani for Matt either, but her character arc has been much better than Kris's and much more rewarding. (I actually liked Gillian the best, but the writers destroyed that character.)
I was watching the season 2 DVD and some downloads of Season 3 episodes and I have to say that they did destroy the Gillian character. First off her sleeping with Kerry (Kris' agent/bf) was the 1st bad move and I think they only did it so Dani could find something faulty in Gillian just to get the larger percentage of the Davis farm when they were running it together. I always thought Gillian/Matt were great together and that she loved him. If she didn't she could have cared less about Dani exposing the fact that she slept with Kerry to Matt. She also agreed to move with Matt, which was probably a step down from her high matinance lifestyle. I said it before, but they made her (just like they do with every other g/f of Matt & Junior) a bitch so Kris wouldn't look bad when Kris finally hooked up with Matt. I think honestly if it were anyone besides Kris, she would have forgave Matt b/c of her screw up. I like the show but this season has been kind of uninspiring. I'm just glad when they put Matt/Dani back together that it wasn't b/c Matt slept with her while she was with Noah which I thought was going to happen when I saw them together during the previews and she's saying that what he's doing is all about revenge and he basically says it is (come to find out it was his planning to beat Kris in a race).
