Hey everyone I just got into this show, and I'm hooked. Does anyone know why they canceled the show? Is it because of low and declining ratings? (most likely I guess) If so that is a shame because was it not during season one it was the highest rated abcfamily show?

Welcome. The cancellation occurred at the last minute. The show fifth season was already written. It was get already gearing up to begin production in Feb 2008, when ABC FAMILY canned it. Its was never about ratings decline. The show averaged a 1 million per showing pretty good for cable. It boost Very High Itune Sales and Video on Demand viewings
Insiders say it was economic. Each year, there is a gradual increase in production cost and the actors were suppose to get salaries increase. ABC Family did'nt want pay it. Its cheaper for ABC Family to make new shows with unknown actors.
The fanbase feels betrayed because ABC Family turns its back on series responsible for its sudden success as teen network. For first month the campaign sent shipement to abc family, 3,000 postcards. 500 horseshoes, 450lbs of boxed Hay bales, 1,000 lbs carrots.
