So... This always bothered me.

But in season 1, It's kind of assumed that it's summer time... so the kids are on summer break. And they mention Matt needing to concentrate on going off to college, which makes me believe that he was 17 and about to go into his senior year. He and Junior are the same age.

And then, of course, there's Dani. She was a year younger... so she was supposedly 16 at the beginning of the series... going into her junior year.

Yet... weirdly enough... the series never showed ANY of them going to school. In season four, they mention Junior and Matt's prom... so would this have been before or after Kris showed up?

The timing on this show is so weird. Love the show... but the time warps make no sense.

Hmm, I always thought it took place the summer after everyone had left HS.

I'm watching it on hulu now and I was just wondering the same thinf. Dani talks about going back to Davidson Academy and then suddenly she's taking shares in Davis Farms? Who are these children that they're jockies and and ranch owners and club owners all at the tender age of 17 and 18?

That aint no etch-a-sketch. This is one doodle that can't be undid.
