Why doesnt Junior and Matt go to college?

Junior and Matt don’t go to school. Why is that? I know that Kris got her GED for high school and she's a jockey, so I understand that. They also all drink in front of adults and no one cares? It's just weird. Aren’t they all supposed to be 18-20 yrs old? How old are they all?

Matt and Junior were 17 when the show started and Dani was 16

I agree, the show is vague on that. Junior owns a bar.... but season 1 they are 17....i love the show enough to ignore that!
