Matt is Annoying the Hell Out of Me...

I mean, Jesus Christ, get the hell over yourself. Junior delt with it when Kris got with Matt. I mean, true, he was all pissed off for a bit, but at least he eventually let it be, and moved on...well, temporarily at least. But Matt just won't leave them the hell alone. I mean, his mom's in the freaking HOSPITAL and all he can do it attack Junior and get all moody when the two of them are together. I can't wait to find out what he does when it turns out they're getting married. Ugh. He's just annoying me. A lot.

I mean, I used to like Matt (excluding the whole gambling thing...) but now he's just pissing me off. And not just because I love Kris and Junior. I just don't like him. He goes all "I'm going to be really mad at you no matter how important the matters at hand are" AND he doesn't even respect that they told him upfront about their relationship instead of hiding for like, half a month. *sigh* I feel like his character is changing. I mean, this is natural due to all of the stress he's under, but he's just annoying me. There are better ways to develop a character then to make said character mad at everyone around him.

Well, everytime Jr. comes over, Kris neglects her job, so Matt has a right to be pissed. She had sex with Jr. on the job when she was supposed to be helping giving the kids tours of Raintree.

And, his stress has been accumulating over 6+ months. He spent 6 months looking for Kris, then when she finally comes home, all she does is moon over Jr. even though Jr. is the reason Kris lost her licence in the first place. Not to mention, Matt had a farm to run, Jr's always coming over and pestering Matt to do best man stuff for the Kuara wedding, etc. Then, Jean gets hurt and Matt feels guilty for it, training 12 horses, an unreliable Kris, etc. Matt hasn't had a vacation in over 6 months. Unlike Jr, he couldn't just run off to a nude beach whenever he felt like it. Maybe if Kris would be more responsible, Matt would be less pissed at her. Instead, she tries to half-ass him at a race, even when she knows Raintree needs to the money. (I applaud Matt for calling her out on that.)

He's completely delusional to boot. I don't like what the writers have done to him. He was completely adorable before. Now he's unbearably self-righteous and acts like stuff that's happening in front of him isn't if it doesn't please him.

Kris told him she didn't want Junior to marry Laura, and he called her on starting a fight between them.

He knew Kris was the reason Junior was late to the wedding.

He knew Kris was the reason Junior called off the wedding.

He's a grown man, if you see two ppl staring longingly at each other in spite of saying it's over -- no duh, it's not over. How did he make it past 3rd grade??

She keeps repeating over and over that she and Matt will never be more than friends, serious face on.

avatar, you forget that Matt has been under a lot of stress for over 6+ months. He is not really aware of Jr./Kris until they actually get back together because his first priority was getting Raintree back racing. He notices something is going on, but he has so many stresses to worry about that it just doesn't register because Krunior is happening isn't his upmost priority. Nor should it have been. Unlike Jr., he can't just hop off to nude beaches whenever he feels like it. Unlike Kris, he isn't about to runaway from someplace when things get bad. He sticks around and tries to find a solution while trying to fulfill his dreams. What is more, at Jr.'s first wedding, Matt's speech about love was as much directed towards Kris and Matt's own feelings for her as it was to Jr to follow his own heart. (Say what you will, and I know you will, but Matt is a better friend to Jr. than Jr. is to Matt. While Jr. tried to potentially wreck Raintree when Krisatt happened, when Kris and Jr dated in season 1, Matt was still didn't disown Jr. or try to wreck Davis farms.) Matt made it very clear to Kris when she came back that he was still not over her and Kris didn't help matters by secretly meeting or staring at Jr. (Note the word secretly. Because Jr and Kris did keep their relationship under the radar and act like 'just friends' for a quite a few episodes.)

Jr. never betrayed Matt? Oh, please. He betrayed Matt at least twice and both times tried to play the victim, when it was Matt who had been victimized. Jr. has never been the better friend or the better brother for that matter. After what he did to Dani, I shocked she continued to speak to him. For all her bitchy demeanor, Dani has always been way too soft on the Ken Davises in her life. If she stopped putting up with their *beep* they wouldn't degrade her the way they constantly do.

Now, you are repeating yourself I see. Probably because you can't come up with anything orginal to say. Yes, Jr. comforted Dani in that episode. However, if he was the better brother, he wouldn't have taken actions that got Dani's racing licence revoked, and Dani was pretty pissed about--and that is the most ultimate betrayal he could have done towards Dani because her license gave her power to force her father to pay attention to her.

Stop trying to saintify Jr. The twerp isn't worth it.

Honey, it's called an opinion, not a fact. When you learn to distinguish between fact and opinion then you'll be capable of debating. Right now, your debating skills are beyond sucky. I only respond to them because I am you getting so wriled up that you post something else stupid with no evidence to back up your opinion. You just blabber on how you are always so right. Clearly, you are product of the Bush years, because the President always does the same thing too. However, just because the President says he right doesn't make him right if he brings no facts to the table. He never does, which is why the Republicans are in a bad spot election-wise. As for you, if you paid attention in school, instead of daydreaming about *beep* Ryan Sypek, maybe your debate skills would be better.

Yes, Dani was a bitch. That doesn't neccessary mean she deserved what she got from Jr. (Have you ever thought that maybe she became a bitch because she was so neglected by Daddy Dearest and Jr. in the first place? It has been made clear every season that Jr. was Daddy's favorite from birth on. It's a miracle Dani survived infancy considering how little attention Ken paid to Dani until she got her racing license.) Probably not, because you appear to see the world in black and white and have a simplistic world view. I see the world in shades of grey and realize it is a very complex world we live in.

I know when I am in a debate and I enjoy debating intelligent Kruniors some of whom make very convicing arguments. You, however, do not. So, go ahead, sweetie, keep telling yourself you are an excellent debater because you suck like Brenda Hampton sucks at making tv shows. (Yes, I realize 7th Heaven ran 11 seasons. However, I know of no critics that like it. There are plenty of critics who wet their pants at the mention of hearing the names of Joss Whedon, Josh Schwartz, and Greg Berlanti. Whedon's stuff is used in academia, Schwartz is a pop culture favorite, and Berlanti's shows are Emmy nominated. What can be said of Hampton? Well, critics trashed the 11th season of 7th Heaven and said the CW was stupid to bring it back when Everwood should have been brought back. I would you to be smart enough to research this for yourself, but I'm sure you are too lazy to do that. So I'll have to post links for you on this matter. Which I shall do soon enough, Brenda Jr.)

At least, Sugarplum Pie actually paid attention in English class since she used proper English and grammar in her post (except for one word), so that is something. Now, if the Sweets pays attention when the Presidential debates are happening and the commentary afterwards, she might learn what makes a good vs. bad debate. If she gets very attentive, she might, also, be able to pick up how the media skews things in their commentary. (I'm a bleeding heart liberal, and while I ADORE Barack Obama, the media's hard-on is getting kind of boring. Then, again, they have quite a hard-on for John McCain, too.)

But the thing is, during Season 1 Matt and Junior decided on a "let the best man win" arrangement when it came to Kris. And Matt still got pissed, openly, at both Kris and Junior. I get why he was upset, he did have feelings for her. But if he had tried to do anything about it it would have made him look really bad because they had already decided to see what happens.

Junior got so upset because he and Kris were in love and had a long history at that point. Matt had not known Kris that long when her and Junior got together in Season 1, and Matt/Kris hadn't already been in a relationship together. Matt and Kris getting together would have hurt Junior a lot more because of their history.

I've only just seen this series for the first time, but, I've disliked Matt since he slept with Kris while he was with Gillian. He's got more and more annoying and always has to be right and throws a tantrum when he doesn't get his own way. He does redeem himself slightly by the end
