Even though I've always been a big fan of Junior...

I actually do feel a little bad for Matt. He obviously really loves Kris and it's tough getting over someone. It's a shame the show won't be around for another season to really give him somebody else to end up with for good.

I never got how Matt could be pissed and get labeled as the ass but when Junior got pissed when she had the brief thing with Matt, everyone felt sorry for him. At least neither of them pulled a Dawson's Creek and tried to sabatoge a race, like Dawson did with the boat race against Pacey. I'm glad Matt's ending up with Dani

In the beginning I liked Matt because he was the perfect gentleman and Junior was the spoiled brat. Their personalities changed. It wasn't that they got pissed when they lost Kris, it was how they handled the loss. There was something about Junior in the end, he was always there for Kris. He was late to his wedding because he was helping her. He turned out to be the real knight in shining armor that I though Matt was going to be. Besides, Kris is too rough around the edges to be with someone like Matt. The personalities of Matt and Kris never meshed as a couple.

Functionally, I think that is the only way it could have worked. There are 2 main guy characters and 2 main girl characters, and two of them are siblings. If all the main characters were to end up together, it had to be this arrangement, since Jr. obviously couldn't end up with Dani. In my opinion, I think Matt and Kris are too much like siblings to really work (spoiler: in the last episode, Matt's mom even tells Kris that she sees her as a daughter). So, I could see this setup happening from the very beginning.

No, the cast could have expanded. Most shows by their forth season do have larger casts. This one, by contrast, ended with a smaller cast than it started out with. The writers could have made Gillian or R.J., Kerry or Rebecca, Evan or Rebecca regulars, but they didn't. The writers really shot themselves in the foot by limiting themselves only to Matt, Dani, Kris, and Jr. (and guest star of season gone by end of season, lucky if they return at all the next season).

I personally think Kris would have been better off with Matt. She never outgrew her old ways. Jr. to a certain degree encouraged her criminal conduct as well. However, Kruniors finally have what they want and I won't have to read screaming idiots whining about Kris and Jr. not being together.

I'm pissed Dani and Matt got treated to such crumbs. True, Matt has a backbone (Jean and Pablo will respect him now regarding the farm) and Dani is independent from her father but the writers hooking them up so everybody can be hook-up is crap.

Over on ABCFamily.com, the Kruniors can accurately be called screaming idiots. They will harass anybody who identifies as a Matt fan or a Krisatt. I applaud the Krisatts/Matt fans who have been able to stick it out over there. On youtube, when Kruniors make "tributes," "love triangle," or "save our show" fanvids, they ignore every aspect of the show but Krunior (and the love triangle fanvids are very negative to the Krisatt angle). (And if you make a tribute to the show, it should be respectful of ALL the hardworking actors and cast and crew and not just two actors in it. However, say that on youtube and the Kruniors over there become whiny bitches because god forbid someone call their vids out on what they really are.)

Tv.com isn't so bad. This place can sometimes be annoying. Of course, I'm also writing from the perspective of someone who has been stalked by a Krunior just for being a Krisatt (and not only did she stalk me but she harassed some of my Krisatt friends as well). Let me tell you, that only leaves a further bad impression in my mind of Kruniors (as well as the examples provided above).

Perhaps most of the Krunior fanbase are decent. However, the decent ones don't do a damn thing when the whiny brats harass Krisatts. (Silence is a form of complicity after all.)

Hopefully, now that the show is over, the whiny brats won't be...whiny brats. But I doubt they'll stop being whiny brats anytime soon (or screaming idiots for that matter).

Reminds me of the PJers and DJers of Dawson's Creek.

Wow, so I appreciate that it sucks getting harrassed over something as trivial as a fan choice, but this is not actually what this thread was about. I'm actually agreeing that the writers gave Matt the short end of the stick. I always wanted Jr. with Kris, but I thought the character of Matt was great. I have to say though, complaining that silence is a form of complicity is certainly true, but using it to argue about something this trivial? This isn't the Holocaust people, it's a show on ABC FAMILY about a horse. Seriously, loosen up.

reply

Well, perhaps, if Kruniors would actually, I don't know, RESPECT Krisatts and not making nasty comments about Micah Alberti/Matt, I would. The majority of Kruniors never have, so I intend it keep it an issue until the whiny brats among the Kruniors learn the definition of harassment (which includes more than stalking).

sorry web2886, it doesnt look like it's gonna happen cause bookreader cant RESPECT other peoples opinion, so there can't loosen up.

Do the world a favor, stop cutting your arms and SLIT YOUR THROAT!

No offense, but not getting in the middle of a shipper war doesn't equal complicity. It equals wanting to stay out of it. Words can only hurt you if you let them. It's not like this is a serious situation where someone could actually get hurt, this is about a TV show.

If I saw a Matt fan and Jr. fan fighting I wouldn't step in, that's between them. Unless they start insulting the fanbase as a whole. In which case, yes, I would say something. But if it's two individuals fighting or a few without hurling insults at the entire Matt fanbase, I don't see why it's any of my business or any other Jr. fan's business.

The problem is Kris never saw Matt as anything more than a friend. Sure, she was attracted to him at first, but there was never that spark and connection she had with Junior.

I don't know if I feel bad for him. He never really seemed to know what he wanted. First it was Dani, then he liked Kris, then got back wtih Dani, then dumped Dani for Kris when she got out of the camp, then got with Tina and actually told Tina he loved her, then got back with Dani. I don't think he was ever sure about anything. And he still had feelings for Dani during Season 1 because he got jealous of both her love interests.

I don't know, I think he loved Kris as a friend for sure but I think his thing for her was more of an infatuation than anything.

I liked Matt as a character, but, I did not like his relationship with Kris. They were more like brother and sister. I wish they would have given more time to Matt and Dani's relationship at the end. Junior turned out to be a great guy and he had a lovely relationship with Kris
