How old are they supposed to be?

They have to be older, because when if first started she went to work for them after that camp...and I think it was summer. Maybe she was 18. Over the years it went from summer to winter and they never went to school. Except in the first season, the episode when Jean goes out to town and matt, junior, and kris throw a party, dani meet a boy and they said they went to the same school. So I have no idea, but kris got her GED. That was the only time they ever talked about school. Plus when Junior opened that club that failed, he would of had to been older. But they do always drink when there out...so I'm not sure...I hope that helps a little bit.

I'm not completely sure about this, but I always thought that when it first aired they were just out of high school and it was the summer after high school ended. Only because I remember Jean saying stuff about how Matt is starting to think about college. You never see them go to school and it seems like they are always working on the farm. So I always just assumed that they all just got of high school. I don't know, though.

Kris was 18 and so was Junior. Dani and Matt I believe were slightly younger when it started, like 17 but by the end of season 1 they would have both been 18.

In the pilot episode, Kris is 18 and Matt is 17. hope that helped.
