Jean Ritter pissed me off from the get go. I think it's the actress because looking at her makes me angry. She makes Jean so unlikeable and WAY too overprotective of Matt (especially since he's supposed to be at least 18 when the series started). I completely understand that she loves her son and wants the best for him but seriously, let him make some of his own decisions.
I hate her hair, her makeup, her voice, just UGH!
I don't hate her but she can be extremely annoying at times. I also found her convenient morality irritating. She cheats on Charlie and then lies about it when he confronts her. She spends deposit money she doesn't have but gets angry with Kris for doing the illegal horse race and gets all high and mighty about it.
shareThe thing about Jean cheating on Charlie- Yes she did cheat and it was wrong of her but your forgetting that it wasn't like she just had a one night stand with some stranger. Jean and Pete were married for how many years and had two children together. They had history.
shareI concur with u in regards to her look and Matt. The only thing I like her for is in regards to Kris. She does not try to hold Kris back pertaining to her career. I am saying this now becuz I am only up to season 2 but I might change my mind once I c the rest of the seasons.
