Warner Bros tried all in their power to save this movie and hype it up even trying to build some narrative that it was the best superhero film since The Dark Knight. Well now that the reviews are out and critics are saying that's average at best, this is destined to be another flop from DC. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up opening below the 70 million it's tracking for right now.
I might watch it, but I'm looking forward to Extraction 2 more. Both movies release the same day. Yeah, Extraction 2 is releasing on Netflix, but it's more priority than The Flash. For me anyway. Plus I have read/heard some spoilers. Doesn't sound like an interesting movie to me, and it sounds like Extraction 2 will be the better movie on the 16th. Oh, and no I'm not sick of superhero movies, especially since The Batman was my favorite movie of 2022. I just feel I'm going to get more out of Extraction 2 when it comes to Extraction 2 vs. The Flash. And the two movies are only being compared because of releasing the same day.
Well, a streaming site I go to uploaded The Flash. So I was able to watch it before Extraction 2. The movie was complete trash. Extraction 2 is definitely going to be the better movie of the two.
I'll probably see it at the theater, maybe even on Thursday if it opens early like most movies do. I've found the DC movies to be generally entertaining but kinda sh!tty, hopefully this one won't be merely sh!tty.
Oh, and I'm looking forward to "Extraction 2", too. I rewatched the first movie a couple of weeks ago as a refresher.
