What did happen to Elizabeth Perkins? She just disappeared and never came back....did she died or was killed?

After the botwins go on the run she is only mentioned in passing. she is not seen again after the S5 finale and her storyline was dropped. one of the biggest blunders in a tv show i've ever seen.

She did not get along with the creator.

Yes, in fact, it's my #1 problem with the plot of the entire show, even though I really dislike season seven. To have her just disappear like that is a real flaw. Wish they could have worked things out between them.
