So what kind of Terminator is Marcus?

According to Bonham Carter's character he was made after Skynet was operational. He is not the prototype of all terminators. He is a unique human\machine hybrid. Is he given any designated model number?

I went to the fandom wiki and read there he is a T-H. A Terminator Hybrid designed for infiltration.
I also learned:
When a T-H's heart ceases beating, the subject will be just off-line and go into hibernation.

So in the larger scheme of these movies does a TH A serve any purpose? Or was he the first step towards the T800.
