Why this movie didn't work....

Don't get me wrong, I liked this movie more than I thought I would. But there's a few reasons why it left a bad taste in my mouth:

1) Rob Schneider as the "hero"
-After seeing Rob serve as the comic relief/bit character in so many movies ("You can do it!") I had a real tough time seeing him as the savior to the nerds. Or being married to a supermodel. He's just so typecast, it didn't work for me.

2) Jon Heder's role, a.k.a Napoleon II.
-Speaking of typecast, good luck to Jon Heder trying to find work as anything BUT a nerd. Unlike School for Scoundrels, the writers didn't even try to make him any different than Napoleon Dynamite. A little less nerdy, but the elements were there.

3) The Titty Twisters
-Funny the first few times, not so much after about 1,000 times.

I blame the 1970's Bad News Bears movies and tv show for my own bad performance and unsportsmanlike conduct in games when I was a young boy playing sports. It's Movies like "The Benchwarmers" that are a bad influence on anyone who sees it.

Actors are actors regardless of if they are comedians are not. All actors should have equal rights and be given the chance to try and take their talents further than just what they are known for. Lighten up, he tries.
