What happens if they load the bases?

This movie is so bad and dumb on so many levels but the biggest one that bothers me is the fact that they are playing games with 3 freaking people!!! They couldn't come up with something more believable than that? Can't have the 3 of them and maybe some kids who get bullied on to fill the team?

So if the 3 of them get walked or get singles and the bases are loaded, what do they do? Is this like when you're a kid and you would have a "ghost runner?"

I'm ok with a movie just being dumb and letting realism slide but when you're being asked to believe 3 guys can beat a team of 9, well really 1 guy because the other 2 were idiots, it's just asking the audience to dumb themselves down to a whole other level.
