Are they running out of ideas? :(

I've loved this show for such a long time. Season 1-7, all hilarious with great re-watchability. Even season 6 (which I thought was the weakest at the time), has some really hysterical episodes.

But this season... Something is definitely lacking, I don't know what.

It started out great, I was laughing as much as ever. But as it has gone on, the less I have laughed with every episode. The latest I saw was episode 11, and I only chuckled, not laugh my ass off like I usually do.

What happened? I used to jump with joy when a new episode came out, but now it's more "Let's hope it's a little better this time". It's still good to me, but not the comedic genius it used to be. The Arnold sketch was the funniest, and even that one was a little lazy. It's either the writers (they did get some new writers) or it's close to overstaying its welcome.

I thought Episodes 11 and 12 were the weakest this season. Episode 13 was a small improvement. There's usually at least one skit that is clever per episode and if it isn't, the skit will be over soon. If this was a half hour show, I think most people would have given up on it a long time ago.

Episode 14 was awesome, some of the biggest laughs I've had in a while. They seem to have found their way back now!

Yes, the Gone Girl Barbie skit was brilliant!
