I dislike Paulie as much as anyone, but I was okay when Kimberly was let go. She said the one thing that should never be said. "I don't want to be here".

But when he kicked Paulie out, I smiled.

I'm really going to miss Kim's constant look of shock/confusion/horror and I never quite figures out how she manages to talk completely through her nasal cavity.

I was thinking they both deserved the boot, but really didn't expect a double elimination. Oh well, good for the show.

I have not watched every season, but I believe that recently they have been doing double eliminations frequently when they get to black jacket time. Both Paulie and Kim were not going to be acceptable to "The Yardbird" as a Sous Chef, which is probably what the real job is, so they were easy cuts to make.

I wonder if this means one less show? It usually goes 6,5,4,3, Finals but now the 4 chefs left show is entirely skipped. He may pull his trick where he does not eliminate anyone next week.

Well, just looking at my programming schedule, only two episodes left, so there will be an elimination next week
