The whole "exclusive black jacket" club that's been a thing since Series 11(people before more just talked about getting to the final 6) is probably the lamest thing that seems to now be a fixture in the season. It's not some exclusive club of great Chefs who have got there, it's just the chefs who happen to get to the final 5/6 Chefs. Some very poor Chefs have made it there in previous seasons so people need to chill. Have a feeling that the producers encourage the contestants to talk about it this way though.

They need to get rid of the whole "girls vs. boys" BS as well. Just have both genders on both teams from the beginning. That way they can hate each other for other things besides their genders.

Since the show seems to only cast male chefs who are dingbats, they ought to do what Top Chef does - have the chefs draw knives assigning them to the Red or Blue team and then rebalance the teams as needed during the season.
