I'm not going to watch anything from the youtoob trolls (clownfish). Just dredging up old articles! Maybe facebook is losing millions of members?
Googling "doctor who ratings" only gives me 10 month old stuff, like:
https://metro.co.uk/2020/03/09/doctor-season-12-ends-lowest-ratings-since-2005-reboot-12373071/
Oh shut up you weirdo.
Enough is enough. No one cares if you hate Doctor Who. Drop your obsession and let the people who enjoy it discuss it here. You’re beyond boring now, really. Your behaviour is just plain creepy now.
I see a lot of hate and anger in you. It's OK, just calm down and try to be less violent and more open-minded.🙂
shareLOL! Well payed kookoo
Yes, maybe you can give me some pointers about being more open minded. Though that's kind of like asking for Tara Reid for pointers on how to be an amazing actress, isn't it?
Since you mentioned it, the fastest growing Facebook group for Doctor Who is called 'Doctor Who - For Fans Who Actually Like The Show' designed specifically because fans were sick of people with an agenda spamming the official page with constant moaning that they can't accept a female actor in the role. Man babies, you know the type, right?
constant moaning that they can't accept a female actor in the role. Man babies, you know the type, right?
Again - why do you need to post this. You don't see me going and posting on shows I don't like
share[deleted]
That's irrelevant though. No one is saying you can't discuss things you dislike but what is the point in posting stuff all the time about a show you don't like?
I never really got into the TV series friends, just not my humour but you don't see me posting every week telling people how I feel on that board
I love Doctor Who. What I don't like is Doctor Whoke.
shareAnd maybe the show isn't for you anymore or simply this doctor, showrunner etc.
I get coming on and saying you don't like what they have done to it once but coming on and posting everything negative you can find just seems trolling.
I said the other day these people using the word woke seem to have an agenda and this is a prime example of it. I feel if the show did something good they'd find something negative to say because they seem to love doing that. I've watched bits of some of these reviewers on YouTube possibly you and others have posted and they seem to find issues with everything and not.just what they class as woke. It's like they hate the current era so can't say anything good.
Like I get when the show does something like the timeless children people like yourself posting stuff and for the record I hate the timeless child, well mainly the fact it is the doctor. However people post stuff all the time when there's not much news kicking off
And maybe the show isn't for you anymore
Well I just think if its not for you why bother posting the same drivel. Putting up figures means nothing to those still watching. You could say I was the only one watching but that's my choice and it isn't going to change
shareGO woke get broke.
shareHalloween's $255million box office receipts say otherwise.
shareIt doesn't. That box office was based in the success a pre-woke franchise as Halloween. The problem with wokes is that they burn the brands, which is why they keep jumping from franchise to franchise, burning it and moving to the next one.
shareWell... it does. It didn't go broke did it, which is what the other poster said happens?
Even in adjusted dollars it made more than the original, which took almost a decade to reach it's $70m gross.
We'll have to see how the next two fare to see if people actually care.
(sigh)
Nobody said "get woke, go broke immediately". Burning a brand takes a while.
Anyway, if you wanna prove your point, tell me some franchise that has gone woke for a while without going broke.
I don't have a point to prove - that's your cyclical game.
shareDon't bother dude, he'll just change the qualifying criteria of the question - it's what he does.
Halloween *is* a perfect example, if you even consider it 'woke'. It fits entirely with what the other poster said, but kukuxu can't accept that, so had to move the goalposts to make it look like it's not the case. He's not capable of objectivity.
So Halloween ain't woke and it didn't go broke? Kinda fucks up your bulllshit theory then doesn't it?
shareWas Halloween really that woke though?
shareNot to me, but it's always getting dragged for too much female power, weak men etc.
Virtually all slasher films pivot on young women rising up to kick ass, but for some reason this one seemed to incense some folks.
Really? I've never seen anyone drag it for the female power. If anything I've seen a lot of people praise it for the portryal of PTSD.
shareGo to its board on here, there are (or at least were) a few threads complaining about various aspects from the granddaughter and her boyfriend 'pushing a trans agenda' because of their party costumes, to the little kid in the truck 'pushing the gay agenda' because he mentions he likes dancing. It's nauseating stuff.
I like the movie; not the amazing reboot I'd hoped for, but a nice "what if..." companion to H20.
This is what annoys me. You can't have a film or series these days that people can just enjoy. Like so what if there's a female, person of colour, gay or so on. If the film is good just enjoy it.
As for the last Halloween film, the original is one of my favourites and I felt the latest reboot one was one of the better ones, really enjoyable. There's also references to each film in there which I liked.
If halloween is apparently "woke" I gather people would class George A Romero as woke as in a lot of his films the hero or at least survivors are non whites
Was Halloween really that woke though?
You call me a "woke" constantly and I would do none of those things. You don't even know what you're talking about. You've lost the plot amidst your obsession.
