why not focus AS WELL on the maids and footmen

i would love to have gotten to know them as well, to see how hard life for them.

in "manor house" they showed both the upstairs and the downstairs. why not show how life was like for all those servants. im sure romances developed between them as well

They didn't focus on the maids and footmen because they didn't have to live a completely Regency life. They went to their rooms in the back of the house and had real showers and toilets and could put on their modern clothes and not be Regency.
