Bassist's name

Hi,

I think the listed bassist's name may be wrong.

I checked the official swing girls web site:

http://www.swinggirls.jp/cast/girls.html

The name of Bassist is "Mizuta Fumiko".

I really like her in the movie, and she plays bass for real also.
I play metal & rock guitar, and I really dig her as a bassist. ^__^

Any chance that we can change the name listed in IMDB?

Technically they aren't wrong. Nishida is the bassist in the Jazz group at the Yamaha music school. As for Mizuta she is awesome. She is a very good bassist (check out first and last concert) and is becoming a decent actress. If you want to see more of her check out the recently completed J-dorama Nobuta wo. Produce. She plays a bully and is very important in the first 4 episodes or so. After that you can just catch her here and there and again at the end of the show. Also fellow swing girl Natsuko Tatsumi is in Nobuta. She just plays an extra in the classroom scences and I only noticed her in episode four.

I see... So Nishida is the girl who play bass (not bass guitar) along with the small boy (playing piano) who is always picking on the math teacher. ^__^
