Okay. I just saw the poll about whether or not people thought V was gay. My son asked me (we've seen the movie a million times) if I thought that V was in a relationship with Deitrich in the camps. It's said in the movie that gays were put in those camps -- and they briefly show a picture of Deitrich in his hidden room with another man. Was the man in the picture V? Is that why they hum the same song and both make the eggies in a basket?

Plus, as you remember, when the news anchor starts speaking about the "Former United States" and how they sucked because of having lots of Muslims, homosexuals, etc. it's clear that it's a very right wing government. The people in those camps were possibly not all gay, but also religious and ethnical minorities. As the girl who was trapped there said "All of a sudden, different became the same as bad" (or something like that).
No, there was nothing to imply that. Deitrich was never in the camps.
