Yeah I had a chance to watch Election in both its original theratical version and china version on DVD. While watching china version it was much more shorter and the ending is different to the theratical version and the violence was trim down in china version. Just letting everyone know try and get a hold of the Panorama DVD version if you can cause its 15 minutes and is more worth watching.

shareUncut or cut... its the censorship. one is the one with all the triad ritual and Big D and his wife getting killed by Lok and Jimmy is not a undercover cop and many more. Cut into a cleaner version so that it can be shown in other countries.

I just saw the Tartan Extreme vers. And Jimmy is "exposed as a cop early on to Lok,at his apartment. Within the first 15min. Later on you see Jimmy making arrests of the gang. Lok and Uncle Teng always knew he was a cop. uncle Teng? tells him he'll go far in the triad. So,I don't know what vers. everyone else is watching. But,the one I saw was killer!
