why doesnt Nikki get her comeuppance?

Nikki is the biggest bitch in the whole movie, we feel no sympathy for her and she is downright evil so why does she walk away scott free? Stacey gets a tongue lashing from Vanessa and everyone clapping at her so why didnt Nikki get anything? she should have at least got hit by a bus or something

whose *beep* jizz is it!!!??

reply

I agree that she should have got something, but if it were real life, karma woulda had it's way with her eventually. She probably figured at that point that she wasn't going to "win" the situation anymore and it was better to just keep quiet and walk away.

Stacey manipulative everyone, including Nikki, who was her troll. Everything that happened to Vanessa stemmed from Stacey, who was the Queen Bee. Nikki did the dirty work, but it was Stacey who was the cause.

Stacey gloated and loved all the stuff done to Vanessa, but she pretended to be innocent. Can't have it both ways

Actually, I think it was the other way around. Stacey might have been the "Queen Bee" but Nikki was the one manipulating everyone, even Stacey who didn't want to do any of this, you could tell by her face.

I felt like Stacey was those of passive aggressive people who pretend they don't like seeing someone get hurt, but secretly loves it and doesn't say anything to stop it. The only reason Nikki even did all those things was bc she was jealous Vanessa was closer to Stacey (not to mention, smarter and that guy liked her in the beginning), so she decided to start being mean to Vanessa to impress Stacey.

I agree at points Nikki was the instigator, but Stacey could stop it all if she said something. She didn't, and did too little, too late.

reply

Yeah, I agree, she could have stopped it but didn't. I think that was mainly because she didn't want Nikki to start being mean to her or calling her a wimp or something like that.
I understand what you mean though.

Vanessa was most upset with Stacey because Stacey was her best friend. The beginning of the movie made it clear that they had been friends for a long time so Stacey's actions were worst than anyones.

I agree with a previous comment which said that Nikki wasn't even worth screaming at. She was who she was, and she wasn't going to change. And even though her behavior was nowhere near acceptable, at least she was honest and forthcoming about it. She didn't lie about it and pretend to be a friend when she wasn't, like Stacey did.

Kids like Nikki pretty much need to figure their attitudes out themselves and come to their own eventual understanding of how horrible they are. Sometimes they grow out of it, and sometimes they don't, but if you move on and refuse to let them victimize you, then they can never affect you again.
