First, was Stacey always like this? If no, why did she start?

Second, what on earth is Tony talking about when he accused Nessa of blabbing about what they talked about? As far as I can see, all they talked about was how he went to see "Bend It Like Beckman" a bunch of times. They didn't even date, at least not in the movie. Vanessa didn't tell Stacey about her conversation with Tony - instead, she was talking about some other guy and Nikki and Stacey had no clue of what Tony and Vanessa had spoken about. SO what could Nikki have said to Tony to make him so mad at Nessa.

Third, Stacy's mom tells Vanessa's mom that Vanessa stole Stacey's bf. Now, STacey's mom HAD to know that wasn't true; she'd never even MET or heard of this boyfriend. Vanessa and her mom seemed close enough that Nessa might have least mentoned a relationship with Tony. And Stacey's mother HAD to know Stacey never even HAD Tony as a bf.

1 - Why did Stacy start, and was she always like this?

A: I don't think Stacy was always like this. I think when she saw Vanessa with Tony it made her kind of mad and the encouragment and back-stabbing talk from Nikki and the other girls kind of encouraged Stacy to get mad at Vanessa and start bullying her.

2 - The confrontation with Tony and Vanessa

A: I think Vanessa might have said something off screen and Nikki told Tony. So, that's why Tony must've gotten mad.

3 - Boyfriend Issue

A: I think Stacy's mom was defending Stacy on this or believing what she said.

I think the term "boyfriend" was used loosely. I think she simply meant "the guy Stacy likes"...not "boyfriend" in the literal sense.
