'Ill make you something'

When Vanessa throws her fit after her friends stand her up, her mother tearfully says 'I'll make you something' as she bolts out the door...did this line make anyone else go 'huh'?

reply

How is that confusing? She says "I'll make you something" and she goes and makes her some tea. She's trying to make her feel better, that's what moms do.

I think the mom just didnt want to be in there with her daughter throwing a fit like that. I'm not a parent but I probably wouldve broke down my own self after seeing my kid that upset over something some bratty bitches did to her. I would have to find a way to get out of the room too.

your mom, rated e for everyone

reply

yeah, that makes sense. she was probably looking for an excuse to leave vanessa be and cool off

reply

Well, the mother ran into the kitchen right after that to make Vanessa a cup of hot milk with honey--something to calm her down, I guess. I'm not a parent either, but I agree that she probably just wanted to find a quick moment to get away and collect herself, after seeing her daughter in that state.

her poor mother had no idea what to do with herself because her daughter was freaking out, so the only thing she could think of to do was just do what moms do, and made her a warm drink

Her daughter also screamed at her to get out. She left to give them both time to calm down and to think of what to do next.

She went to make her some warm milk and honey
