the relationship between vanessa and her mom

I don't know about anybody else but it was kind of hard for me to feel sorry for vanessa when she was treating her mom like crap! and it was kind of hard for me to feel sory for her mom when she was letting vanessa treat her like crap! Did you see the way she yelled at her mom to get out of her room now! Oh my goodness! i would have slapped her told her it was MY room I paid for it as a matter of fact I paid for that computer you're always playing on and if you don't like it YOU GET OUT NOW!!! I'm sorry but I have a problem with little girls acting all big and bad with their mothers and the mothers are so concerned with just being a friend that they don't put their foot down! Yes i'm sure what those brats in school were making her life hell but you don't take it out on your mom!

If anybody under the age of 18 is reading this post you only get one mom and i know it seems like your mom is never on your side or that she dosen't understand that dosen't give you the right to yell or scream at her because she actually has been your age before. Believe me i'm 28 so its only been 14 years since i've been out of middle school. I was bullied when i was in middle school but i knew better than to yell at my mom she would have killed me and asked questions later. If you feel like you can't talk to your mom talk to another adult that you trust!!!

I know what you mean but you also had to understand the pressure she was going through. When I was bullied my attitude changed towards people...I didn't care about anyone anymore...I was hostile against many people because of the way I was treated. I wanted to die.

I understood that but you have to talk to someone about whats going on because that kind of stress can push you over the edge! It's okay to be angry but you can't just lash out at ppl especially your mom. You don't want to say something you'll regret later thats all i'm saying.

Yeah, but people can't always open up. That's how people act when they can't cope.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I was bullied throughout high school, and it changed me.

I was nasty to my family, snappy, aggressive and downright rude and disrespectful. I regret it now, but I was in an awful situation and was venting my bottled up anger and pain on my family.
