How much do we hate Nicki?

UGH! What a vile, nasty, bug-eyed (yeah, I typed it) bitch. I caught Odd Girl Out on Lifetime the other night and the whole time I was watching, I was SCREAMING in my head: "Punch her! Hit her! Spit on her! Pull her hair! Grab her head and jam it into your knee a few times!" I know, I know: The old adage of "violence doesn't solve anything" might be true but man, I'd love to go a few rounds with Nicki in a ring ... or a school hallway so into-a-locker-Nicki's-head-goes could be involved.

All kidding aside ... what a disturbing movie! I wasn't bullied nor was I a bully (But I wasn't an innocent by-stander, either. I always intervened, sometimes physically, but mostly verbally). This movie broke my heart. Girls can be so evil ... and it seems they get nastier as the years go by. I remember all of the evil witches of the 1980s ... but none of them had cell phones. None of them had the Internet (and are these the same girls who design the pro-anorexia/bulimia sites?). Sorry, I'm just in a sh!t-a$$ mood.

Well, as my foul mood rages on, the high school reunion (10 year especially) will be a real trip for those of you who are still in high school. In my past experience, you'll find that time and life has finally caught up to the bullies and bitches ... and life has not been kind. One or two come out unscathed, but only one or two. Now, I don't wish a crappy, miserable existence on anyone ... but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a satifying sight to see: Fat and frustrated former cheerleaders and other bitches (and their just as fat -if not fatter- and frustrated former football-player boyfriends), still sitting together in a group and evil-eyeing everybody else. And "everybody else" laughing their a$$es off (and yelling at the D.J. to stop playing M.C. Hammer's "You Can't Touch This")at the old "some people never change" routine. It was Heaven on a stick.

Thanks for letting ramble on and on and on. Don't bully, kids. It comes back to haunt you ... and it comes back two-fold.

"FRA-GEE-LAY. That must be Italian!"
"I think that says 'fragile', honey."

You are right about karma coming back, but high school is a very small part of a persons life, and people usually realize that once they have been in the real world for a while. You realize that what seemed so important and earth-shattering at the time more than likely doesn't mean very much now. And seriously, when Nikki was in her face calling her all of those names when they were in gym class, I woulda punched her in the mouth and dealt with the aftermath later. To be totally honest, I probably woulda been in a little trouble at home over it, but my parents woulda understood why I did what I did.

same here, i was a teen in the 80's also and there was no cell phones or internet back then but that was a good thing, no online bullying or text harassing to deal with back then.

No they're not. Those sites are made by people with/recovering from eating disorders. Not all of them are bad, some of them are just for support, a place for people to go to talk where people actually understand them.
Eating disorders are often triggered by being bullied. While I was watching this movie I thought that Vanessa was going to get an eating disorder because every one was calling her fat.
For some girls that can be the onset of an eating disorder.

Being called fat (even though I wasn't) contributed towards the start of my eating disorder.

One of my favorite parts in the movie is when after getting out of the hospital, Vanessa walks right up to Nicky, right in her face, and says hi, without blinking. Nicky is so rattled by her behavior she doesn't know how to respond. LOVE THAT. Honestly sometimes the best thing to do is whatever they're not expecting. In any case, ignoring doesn't work as well as fighting back--literally showing them you are not intimidated.

Nikki is a sociopath, I'm not using that generically, she fits the clinical definition.

I completely agree! I hated nicki ugh! Everytime i saw her i was wishing somebody would beat the *beep* out of her or just punch her. N all throughout the entire movie i was saying to myself "Don't these dumbasses have ne thing better to do than ruin someone's life they barely know, are jealous of, and cuz they are retarded?" I mean seriously get a life n if u dont like her move on, duh. N nicki was prbly the worst cuz all she did was make her life a living hell with all those ridiciulous n sickening videos of nessa n whenever she was talking to that tony guy she automatically assumed she was flirting. Umm ever heard of being a friend n trying to set someone up on a date? hello! *beep* idiot bitch! She made her life hell for no reason. N she kept calling VANESSA fat? Dude look in the *beep* mirror!

QF, Stacy was worse IMO...

Stacy was the only one who Nessa told about indi rock guy... How do you suppose Nikki found out?

Stacy also hands in Nessa's paper as her own... and then lies about it with her prissy mother coaxing her "sweetheart" to tell the truth. (blegh!)

Stacy knew about all the bullying stuff that everyone else did (the websites, the pictures, the texts, the) and didn't do a thing!

Once Nikki started bullying, she stayed a bully. Stacy flimflammed back and forth, making Nessa feel comfortable to disclose her personal feelings about her "episode". She then sends the Im's to Nikki who prints them out and reads them aloud in the darkened hallway.

Stacy was a sociopath!
