How much do we hate Nicki?
UGH! What a vile, nasty, bug-eyed (yeah, I typed it) bitch. I caught Odd Girl Out on Lifetime the other night and the whole time I was watching, I was SCREAMING in my head: "Punch her! Hit her! Spit on her! Pull her hair! Grab her head and jam it into your knee a few times!" I know, I know: The old adage of "violence doesn't solve anything" might be true but man, I'd love to go a few rounds with Nicki in a ring ... or a school hallway so into-a-locker-Nicki's-head-goes could be involved.
All kidding aside ... what a disturbing movie! I wasn't bullied nor was I a bully (But I wasn't an innocent by-stander, either. I always intervened, sometimes physically, but mostly verbally). This movie broke my heart. Girls can be so evil ... and it seems they get nastier as the years go by. I remember all of the evil witches of the 1980s ... but none of them had cell phones. None of them had the Internet (and are these the same girls who design the pro-anorexia/bulimia sites?). Sorry, I'm just in a sh!t-a$$ mood.
Well, as my foul mood rages on, the high school reunion (10 year especially) will be a real trip for those of you who are still in high school. In my past experience, you'll find that time and life has finally caught up to the bullies and bitches ... and life has not been kind. One or two come out unscathed, but only one or two. Now, I don't wish a crappy, miserable existence on anyone ... but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a satifying sight to see: Fat and frustrated former cheerleaders and other bitches (and their just as fat -if not fatter- and frustrated former football-player boyfriends), still sitting together in a group and evil-eyeing everybody else. And "everybody else" laughing their a$$es off (and yelling at the D.J. to stop playing M.C. Hammer's "You Can't Touch This")at the old "some people never change" routine. It was Heaven on a stick.
Thanks for letting ramble on and on and on. Don't bully, kids. It comes back to haunt you ... and it comes back two-fold.
"FRA-GEE-LAY. That must be Italian!"
"I think that says 'fragile', honey."
