Did anyone ever find out who the brainchild was behind that website? Wouldn't that person be held accountable and/or put in juvie? They didn't address that issue in the movie, at least not that I saw/heard. I'd think Nikki was behind it.
back when this movie was made, there were not cyberbullying laws in place. that's why the school couldn't do anything without a physical altercation.
shareNikki took the pictures, but the kid with the shaggy hair and the video camera likely helped get it up and running. I guess they basically ran out of time with the movie and didn't really address it...heck, they never really clarified what happened when the principal approached the kids about the instant messages.
But yeah, I agree that cyber bullying wasn't officially recognized as a real thing back then. This was before Facebook, iPhones, etc...
