My friend said it wasn't that bad or even noticeable, but for me, after she "cut" her hair, it was SO PAINFULLY OBVIOUS that it was a nasty looking wig that I couldn't help but notice it for the rest of the movie. Really, was Alexa so against cutting her hair 3 inches that she would wear that thing?
shareYES. The wig was so annoying & obvious. she held up the hair that she had cut off and it was a completely different color too. I understand if she didn't want to cut it that short, but couldn't they have gotten a better wig? I don't understand.
shareHaha well, what do you expect? It's a Lifetime movie. They're not going to have a huge budget. If I were her, I wouldn't cut my hair so short just for a Lifetime movie, either.

If you're going to let something as minuscule as a bad wig ruin a movie for you, you might as well not watch movies. There is always something which isn't exactly perfect.
Personally, I loved this movie, bad hair or not. I just think it's ridiculously stupid to let something like a wig get in the way of enjoying such an unrealistic, but feel-good movie.
The movie was clearly about standing up for yourself, and not a hairstyle statement.
And why did they have to imply that if you chop your hair off in anger/sadness, that you have to end up with an ugly haircut? There are so many cute styles for short hair. She could have had it styled properly and rocked it!

I'm watching it on Lifetime, and she just cut off her hair, and the wig is distracting. Sorta like Jodie Foster's horrendous wig in The Accused. It does take away from the movie, because it's cheap and attention to detail is lost.
I also agree lac925, why did they have to make her shorter hair look so fug???? She had bad hair to begin with, but she went to a hairdresser and that was the best that they could do?! That's one pretty untalented hairdresser. I agree she'd have been okay with the shorter hair if she had a better hairdresser.
