Support Creative Experiments Like This Movie

If this movie came out in the 80's it would have received all kinds of praise. But this internet generation is so critical that Hollywood barely take any chances with creative scripts anymore and shoots out remake after remake. So stop being whiny douche-bags people and support movies like these for at least TRYING to break the mold.

Agreed.

I don't know about what they'd have said about it in the '80s. Yet, I agree with you.

It puts a rational, scientific perspective on the mythology of "vampirism." Also, while a lot of other TV/Movie productions had depicted vampirism as originating from a virus. This movie elaborates it to an extent that was very complexly done.

I think you make an excellent point, that the film takes a theme that's been done to death, over and over, and makes it into something with some fresh perspectives and originality.

Perhaps, but it didn't. Simple as that. It came out 2 decades after the 80's ... that's a long time. Imagine if Avatar (another 2009 film) had come out in the 80's. We could play this game forever.

I do agree with you though that Daybreakers tries to do something a bit different with the genre.🐭

yeah in the 1980s people were so retarded, they thought elm street was a master piece when it's crap, this movie is rubbish too. the directors come with interesting ideas but they can't hold the movies well tel the end, the last third of the movie was total nonsense
