Not convinced

I never really felt like the rich woman came off like a real villain. She just seemed a little cold and business-like, maybe not the friendliest, but not a villain. This made the kid calling her out and then challenging Zeus just seem that much more obnoxious. They really should have developed her as a villain more or just not had the kid call her out like that.

It all makes sense if you see robot boxing as having a culture similar to human boxing. It didn't matter if the woman was good, bad or indifferent. The kid wanted a shot at Zeus and about the only way for him to get that was to involve the fans and call Zeus out publicly. It was a very savvy PR stunt, maybe a little too savvy for an 11 year old.
