You truly can never judge a book by its cover, or in this case, a film by its trailer. It's def a bit campy but it's a fun campy. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would've. Good B movie.

Yeah, it's predictable and has all the sports movie and estranged dad/son cliches in it, but it still manages to be a pretty fun movie. All in all surprisingly well made flick.
sharetotally agreed. remembers me a bit of most 80s classics: a rather cheesy story, with a straight good vs evil plotline added with some kind of redemption for the main character, but made so perfectly that it is still a great experience,
