T-800 vs. Boxing Robot
Do you think a T-800 would be able to take on any of the robots seen in the movie?
shareDo you think a T-800 would be able to take on any of the robots seen in the movie?
shareIf it did, it'd rip Atom to shreds due to the fact that it has speed and strength on its side. It would rip Atom to shreds right at the rivets. In fact, I don't believe that any of the human-made robots would be able to stand a fight against the T-800.
But this one's eating my popcorn!
T-800 would rip Atom to shreds then turn and say, "I'll be back."
shareIts a no contest.
T-800!
Its that man again!!

Terminators seem to made from some fictional metal that's basically indestructible

Stupid question, T-800 have AI, these bots need someone controlling them, that alone will make it a short fight.
T-800 ignores robot, rips head of controller ... done.

Not if the controller can't be reached. Stupid answer. Now get that stick out of your butt.

John Connor's still alive!

Well of course, its Hollywood, kill the chicken with the golden eggs? If it was real, first Terminator would have ended less then half way in.
Nothing beats machinery with cold hard logic from AI, no emotions, no "what if" problems because the "what ifs" have already been calculated.

Never said anything about being real

Of course not, if it was then this
Not if the controller can't be reached. Stupid answer. Now get that stick out of your butt.would sound utterly rediculous.
Yeah, I need to fix that reply. What if the controller is in another castle?
shareDamn, i think a T-800 would do fine... and it would be SCARY!!!
shareI know this thread is old, but I can't believe nobody has said it yet, the Terminator isn't all that powerful, it wasn't until Terminator 3 when Terminator was bastardised, and given super strength.
The original vision for the terminator was that of a cyborg that is stronger than the average human, but doesn't have the power to cause huge destruction. This is backed up in the original Terminator movie when Matt encounters the Terminator intruding in Gingers bedroom looking for Sarah. Matt tackled the Terminator to the ground, and fought with it for a good while before ultimately being killed.
Even with autonomous A.I the Terminator wouldn't have the physical strength to take on another robot in unarmed combat.
Agreed. RealSteel robots would smash T-800 like Hulk would smash, let's say, Iron man (not Hulkbuster version!!!)
