The original was no masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but it was damn sure better than this rubbish.
It's even worse than horror re-makes like Black Christmas, One Missed Call, When a Stranger Calls, Nightmare on Elmstreet, Prom Night and The Omen. Abysmal doesn't quite cut it.
The original is an excellent atmospheric ghost story, the remake is a complete and utter disgrace. It is absolutely DIABOLICAL!

LOL! Some remakes are actually pretty impressive, this wasn't. It didn't even feel like the original, it felt like an entirely different movie with a couple characters from the original movie.
"I am the ultimate badass, you do not wanna `*beep*` wit' me!" Hudson in Aliens.
Problem with the original is its *beep* effects make your eyes bleed.
